Nine/Twelve Men's Morris

Nine Men’s Morris and its variations probably originated in ancient Rome, but its popularity peaked in medieval England. The goal of the game is to remove all of your opponent’s pieces from the board. Movement is restricted to adjacent “holes” on the board, which makes this a great game for improving spatial reasoning!

Haven Pottery offers two styles of Nine Men's Morris boards. Click a game for larger view and more details.
